Project Manager (Implementation)

Role: An implementation manager oversees the implementation of new technical systems and solutions throughout an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing project plans: Setting clear objectives, creating work plans, and tracking progress
  • Managing resources: Allocating resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology assets
  • Building relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborating with teams: Working with system integration team members to ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Installing hardware and software: Installing new software and hardware devices, and training employees how to use a new system
  • Negotiating contracts: Negotiating contracts with vendors
  • Resolving issues: Resolving customer issues effectively
  • Delegating tasks: Delegating tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Acting as a liaison between team members and external interested parties
  • Helping teams implement and understand new hardware and software solutions for business use
  • Maintaining constant contact with customer project managers, overseeing the creation of the resources

Desired Candidate details:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Domain experience in Ports & Terminals
  • MBA in Maritime Management / Logistics etc.
  • Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into customer solutions
  • Ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Experience: 8-10 years into Implementation of ERP into Ports and Terminal industry

Educational Qualification: Graduate & MBA will be an added advantage.
