Role: The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced BI solutions to enable data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on end-to-end data management, from data modeling to report generation, while ensuring the scalability, performance, and accuracy of the BI environment. The Senior BI Developer will also mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
Expertise / Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Extensive experience with BI tools such as Power BI, (Dataware Housing), ETL (Extract Transform Load) Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
- Strong understanding of database design and data modeling best practices
- Expertise in Excel and advanced data visualization techniques
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights
- Experience in optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability
- Dashboard Reporting
- Database – MS SQL/MySQL/Oracle
- Reporting Tools – SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Services
Areas of expertise:
- Designing and developing complex data models and BI solutions
- Advanced SQL querying for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Building and optimizing interactive dashboards and visualizations
- ETL pipeline design, development, and automation
- Leading efforts in data governance, quality, and consistency
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of BI tools
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of BI reports and dashboards
- Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Troubleshoot BI tools and resolve data-related issues
- Support data cleansing and validation efforts

Desired Candidate details: In-depth knowledge of BI tools, SQL, and data warehousing concepts & Proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions that meet business goals
Experience: 5 – 7 + years of Experience.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in IT
Master’s in computer science or related field would be an added advantage.
